Distribution: Occurring east of the Cascades crest in Washington; British Columbia to California, east to Idaho, Montana, Wyoming.

Habitat: Open hillsides, meadows and forest openings from the lowlands to middle elevations in the mountains.

Flowers: June-August

Conservation Status: Not of concern
