Distribution: Occurring east of the Cascades crest in southeastern Washington; southeastern Washington to northeastern Oregon, east to Montana and Colorado, possibly introduced in Alaska.

Habitat: Sagebrush steppe, grasslands, damp rocky flats, slopes, and benches.

Flowers: June-August

Origin: Native
