Distribution: Occurring east of the Cascades crest in the Columbia River Gorge and southeastern Washington; southern Washington to eastern Oregon and western Idaho.

Habitat: Open, often rocky hillsides and banks in the foothills, valleys, and lower mountains.

Growth Duration: Perennial

Conservation Status: Not of concern
