Distribution: Occurring east of the Cascades crest chiefly in the southeastern counties of Washington; southeastern Washington to eastern Oregon, east to western Idaho and northwestern Montana.

Habitat: Open slopes, usually on clay soils.

Flowers: April-June

Conservation Status: Not of concern
