Description:
Identification Notes:

Soft, spongy, \\'cheesy\\' bracket or shelf-like polypore. Fruitbody off-white, staining reddish, ageing reddish-brown. Dries hard and brittle. Pores small, round to angular. On dead conifers, causing brown rot.
