Spores are white. Growth of up to 1/8 inches. Cap diameter of up to 1/2 inch. A. lobata (Persoon: Fries) Redhead is a moss-associated species often found in fens, along streams, or in association with melting snow. Old faded specimens can be confused with Cyphellostereum laeve.
