Background: I have degrees in Botany from the UW and a Biological Photography degree from Bellevue College. After 30 plus years as a professional photographer and Outdoor Recreation Guide (sea kayaking and biking) I am now retired and work with the WNPS and the UW Rare Plant database collections. In my spare time I hang out in my garden in Seattle, travel with my wife and take care of our old dog and even older house.
