Background: My interest in plants has broad and deep roots. I started working with the WTU Herbarium as a 50 Peaks Intern, conducting floristic surveys on alpine areas in the Cascades. I earned my degree in Environmental Science from the UW School of Environment and Forest Sciences. I then worked at Mount Rainier, locating rare plants around the park. Currently, I am participating in a new WTU Herbarium project that is modeling the potential impacts of climate change to endemic plant distributions in the Wenatchee Mountains and Mount Rainier.
