Location: Washington, Jefferson County: Olympic National Park; not tufted; upper inflorescence bract sheathing stem 0-2mm long; style base growing straight from achene tip; 2 stigmas; papillose perigyna; South of Cameron Pass by stream with Carex aurea and Carex luzulina; the species also seen in wet meadow North of Cameron Pass by camp, where collected for Oly. Nat. Park Herbarium.
