Location: U.S.A., Washington, Clallam County: Lyre River mouth near beach, Lyre Land Trust. Dark tepals, congested terminal spikelets into a head and an additional spikelet low from leaf axil. Beach is rocky, but Luzula set back slightly from beach in a grassy area with Plectritis brachystemon, some Lomatium nudicaule, few Delphinium and sheep sorrel. Not many plants in the area, maybe 9.
