Comments: 6 fruiting bodies beneath Western red cedar and Douglas fir. Harvested/dried 3 fruiting bodies for herbarium collection. Spore printed a single cap directly on a glass slide for microscopy. Spores: smooth, clear, ellipsoid. Macro features- cherry red cap(5-7cm wide). Stem: 6-8cm long, thick, yellow(dry) white at base cast/streaked pink vertically in mature specimens. Gills: peach cast.
