Comments: Plants tiny, to 3 inches. In an alpine cushion community in a cold air drainage microsite on decomposed granite, with Dryas hookeriana, Eritichium argenteum, Polemonium elegans, Polemonium pulcherrimum, Erigeron aureus, Phlox hendersonii, Draba oligosperma, and Carex breweri.
