Location: U.S.A., Washington, Mason County: Dabob Bay. This is a small stand with 10-12 trees in an area 20' by 50', along the shore of Hood Canal on a basalt outcrop. The trees are from 3-10 dbh with considerable brushy growth (Quercus) in the understory. Associated plants include Pseudotsuga Menzisieii, Salix Scouleriana, Holodiscus discolor, Lonicera hispidula, Rosa nutkana, Philadelphus lewisii, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Amelanchier alnifolia, Symphorocarpus sp?, Heuchera micrantha.
