Comments: The two-lipped (bilabiate), yellow flowers have reddish-brown patches. Notice the glandular hairs along the stem, and the three clearly evident veins on the upper leaf surfaces. The photo also illustrates the moss mat habitat in which chickweed monkey-flower is found.
