Notes: An allotetraploid species derived from Botrychium lanceolatum s.l. and B. neolunaria. FNA2: "Botrychium pinnatum is most commonly associated with B. lanceolatum and B. lunaria [= B. neolunaria]. Specimens of B. pinnatum in North America have been misidentified as Botrychium boreale."
