Notes: Botrychium lanceolatum sensu stricto corresponds to genotypes with a red stripe down the common stalk, dull yellow-green trophophores, and asymmetrically lobed, upwardly curved lower pinnae in which the basal basioscopic pinnules are much larger than the basal acroscopic pinnules. Most reports of Botrychium lanceolatum in Washington can be referred to Botrychium viride.
