Notes: FNA24: "Elymus elymoides subsp. hordeoides grows in dry, rocky, often shallow soils, particularly in Artemisia rigida–Poa secunda communities, from eastern Washington and Idaho to northern California and Nevada. It resembles some Elymus–Hordeum hybrids."
