Notes: FNA splits B. coronaria into two subspecies (ssp. coronaria and ssp. rosea), however the most recent treatment in Jepson Manual 2nd Edition elevates ssp. rosea to the rank of species. We follow that treatment here. See notes under B. coronaria.
