Notes: Recently collected as a very local escape from cultivation in King Co., not yet an established member of the flora. Further documentation of its establishment is needed before addition to the Flora Checklist.
An invasive weed in the southern US.
FNA25: "Pennisetum setaceum is a desert grass native to the eastern Mediterranean region. It is a popular ornamental throughout the southern United States, but it is also an invasive weed."
